Wahid is a passionate and energetic nature lover who has led numerous fieldwork in the country. A graduate of the Forestry programme at the Gadjah Mada University (2010), Wahid received his Masters at the Forestry Study in the same university in 2013. In 2017, he led the Diving Operational Unit Department and Diving Unit of Gadjah Mada University as a Chairman in 2008.
Wahid Nurrudin has a wealth of research experience as a Research Assistant on I-MHERE Programme of Forestry Department at the Gadjah Mada University (2010-2012) and Laboratory Assistant of Silvikultur dan Agroforestry of Forestry Department UGM (2013). He first started his career as Forest Ecosystem Controller at the Natural Resources Conservation Agency Regional II South Sumatra in 2014 and has done numerous conservation training with National or International Programme including Illegal Wildlife Trade Investigation Training for conservation on Berbak-Sembilang and Dangku landscape by ZSL (Zological Society of London).
