Flora Rescue Project

The rapid destruction of rainforests for agricultural use and its unsustainable practices have pushed many species of flora and fauna to the brink of extinction.

This project is a collaboration with government agency, Natural Resources Conservation Agency of South Sumatra Region II SKW II, BKSDA Sumatra Selatan and focuses on rescuing native flora, endangered and protected species from destroyed land and unprotected areas across South Sumatra. The project aims to propagate and release these species back into nature so that it will help bolster its population and prevent them from becoming extinct. The project also seeks to promote appreciation for nature and to educate the local community about native botany.

The project comprises three key areas of work
        1. Rescue
        2. Propagate
        3. Release
